Mutant Vault sells individually photographed, CGC-certified comics. Each listing shows the exact book being offered, including front and back photographs, certification information, and Curator Notes describing observable characteristics of the specific copy.

Returns and cancellations are not accepted after an order has shipped.

If an item arrives damaged in transit or you receive the wrong item, please contact Mutant Vault within 48 hours of delivery. Include clear photographs of the shipping box, packaging, CGC holder, and comic so the issue can be reviewed.

CGC Holders

CGC holders are inspected before shipment. Minor cosmetic imperfections in the outer holder or interior well may be present and are not considered damage to the comic.

• Light scuffs or surface abrasions
• Minor scratches
• Newton rings
• Small manufacturing marks
• Minor interior edge cracks that do not extend through the exterior of the holder
• Other cosmetic characteristics commonly found on CGC holders

Any known significant holder damage will be disclosed in the listing.

Minor cosmetic flaws that do not affect the comic, assigned grade, or structural integrity of the holder are not grounds for a return.

Date Stamps, Writing, and Other Marks

Vintage comics may contain date stamps, arrival dates, distributor markings, writing, pencil or ink marks, production marks, or other markings visible on the comic.

Mutant Vault sells the exact CGC-certified comic shown in each listing. Buyers are responsible for reviewing the provided front and back photographs before purchase. Visible date stamps, writing, markings, or other characteristics shown in the listing photographs are considered part of the condition and presentation of the specific comic being offered and are not grounds for a return.

The presence of writing, stamps, or other markings does not necessarily prevent CGC from assigning a Universal grade. Mutant Vault does not independently grade the comic or determine how an individual characteristic affected the grade assigned by CGC.

Notable markings may be referenced in the listing or Curator Notes. The absence of a written reference does not mean that no visible markings are present. Buyers should review the listing photographs when evaluating the comic.

The photographs show the exact CGC-certified comic being offered and form part of the item's description. Visible characteristics shown in the photographs, including date stamps, writing, markings, manufacturing characteristics, and cosmetic characteristics of the CGC holder, should be considered before purchase.

The CGC grade is assigned by Certified Guaranty Company. Curator Notes are observational and do not modify, replace, or guarantee the CGC grade.

By completing a purchase, the buyer acknowledges that they have reviewed the listing and understand that the sale is final except in cases of shipping damage or fulfillment error.
